Raindrop Therapy.
Pure therapeutic grade essential oils are delicately dropped like rain along your spine. Next, your spine is covered with a warm most towel to allow the oils to fully penetrate. Foot reflexology and an integrative massage complete this treatment. 1 hour $135 at your lodging, $90 at  at Cottonwood studio.

Ancient Sea Algae Papoose Wrap, 1 1/2 hours
Aids in hormonal and metabolic balance Aids in the elimination of heavy metals from the body.
Laminaria Digitata sea algae from the earth's purest Artic ocean beds is featured in this treatment. We begin with gentle body brushing to exfoliate the skin and help stimulate circulation. Next algae paste mixed with pure therapeutic grade essential oils is applied with gentle nurturing massage-like strokes. Then, snugly wrapped in blankets you a free to drop deeply into the ocean of your subconscious. We finish this treatment with an integrative massage using either cooling aloe vera gel or warm sesame oil depending on the season. Detoxifies the body. Tones, smoothes and purifies the skin Helps with grounding and centering Enveloped in bentonite clay formed at the bed of the ancient sea you feel your skin pulsate as toxins are drawn from your body. bentonite clay has been used in healing by indigenous cultures since before recorded history. Some scientists believe that bentonite was the primary catalyst in the formation of the earth's first single-celled organisms. Due to its electromagnetic properties, clay has the ability to reduce swelling and inflammation and stimulate the immune system. We finish this treatment with a stimulating integrative massage using an all natural moisturizer. Ancient Sea Bath
Your tub is filled with warm water infused with sea algae, essential oils and native healing herbs. This is a lovely prelude to any of the above services. 1/2 hr $50 at your lodging. Available only in combination with other services.

Sea Foot Bath
Soak tired and callused feet in a tub of warm water infused with essential oils and sea algae. Next, feet are gently exfoliated with sea salt and a brisk towel rub. We finish with an all natural moisturizer and an energizing foot massage., $65

Michael has a depth of skills to draw from, is very tuned in to what your body needs, and is particularly talented at opening up the energy merdians and doing deep release including cranial work. He has a calm, healing presence.

 

 

Michael's studio is in Flagstaff--if you are going that way, definitely it is worth while to set up 1 1/2 hours with him. If set up in advance for at least 3 people, he may be able to come to your hotel in Sedona.

For over 20 years, Michael has trained in and taught Tai Chi and Internal Martial Arts. Through this training, he has mastered working with "Chi" or "life force energy". Michael's years of training have included the study of Chinese Medicine and Tui Na through the National Organization of North American Tang Shou Tao.

Michael's comprehensive training and knowledge of chi greatly influence his massage practice. He specializes in Tui Na, Chinese massage therapy which opens the energy flow thoughout the body and relaxes muscles and joints. This technique both creates greater flexibility and strength and reduces stress on the body. Michael combines Tui Na , Myofascial Release, CranioSacral Therapy, sports massage techniques, and Qi Gong Therapy for a deeply relaxing and healing massage experience for the client.
